Idyllwind is a women’s country line created in collaboration with Miranda Lambert. The collection features western boots, clothing, hats, and accessories with timeless Texas charm and a down-to-earth attitude.

Cura Coast was tasked with providing full production logistics and transportation for Boot Barn's holiday IDYLLWIND collection photoshoot. Our role included offering production support to their in-house team, location scouting, transport for models, crew, wardrobe, and equipment, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the four-day shoot, both in New York City and Hudson Valley.

Project Highlights: Day 1 (October 14, 2024 - Hudson Valley): We began by scouting various picturesque locations in the Hudson Valley, focusing on a farm with livestock that would later serve as a key backdrop for the shoot. The winding rural roads and expansive landscapes required thoughtful navigation, but our team used this opportunity to discover some hidden gems, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the collection's visual narrative. The crew even had a lighthearted moment with a sheep named Shawn, who insisted on being pet, adding a fun and memorable experience

Day 2 (October 15, 2024 - New York City): The second day was all about scouting NYC locations. The client had identified major landmarks like Times Square, Grand Central, West Village, Brooklyn Heights, and Dumbo, but we also showcased less obvious, uniquely "New York" spots that resonated with the local energy and culture. Despite the heavy traffic due to the workday hustle and a national holiday on day 1, we strategically planned the routes to optimize time and minimize any delays for the upcoming shoot days.

Day 3 (October 16, 2024 - New York City Shoot): The third day marked the first day of shooting, where we transitioned from scouting to execution. The day started with rooftop shots that captured stunning views of the NYC skyline. Next, we moved to Brooklyn Bridge, where the talent performed loops with a classic picture car while we coordinated between shots amidst rush hour traffic. We made sure the talent and crew were well taken care of, despite the chilly October weather, allowing them to stay focused and energetic throughout the busy schedule.

Day 4 (October 17, 2024 - Hudson Valley Shoot): The final day of shooting took place on the Hudson Valley farm, where the serene, rustic backdrop and live animals, including horses and sheep, added an idyllic and authentic touch to the shoot. Our team managed the logistical challenges of shooting in a rural environment, ensuring all equipment, wardrobe, and crew were in place without any delays. Photographer Jerry, affectionately nicknamed the "horse whisperer," impressed everyone by keeping the animals calm and engaged throughout the day.

Client Feedback: The client shared that the shoot would have been impossible without Cura Coast's expertise and seamless support. They've confirmed we'll be their go-to team for any future shoots in New York. This project showcased our ability to adapt to the fast-paced needs of the fashion industry, and we look forward to future collaborations with Boot Barn and other brands in need of tailored logistics and production solutions.
